Other opportunities to meet

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer. We have a loving Heavenly Father who longs to meet with us as we talk to him about the things that worry us and the things that make us happy. There are opportunities to receive prayer at the end of the informal weekly services or, if more convenient, members of the prayer team would be pleased to pray with you at St Margaret’s on Wednesday evenings anytime between 1730 and 1900.

At the end of the services at St Margaret’s on Wednesday and St Mary’s on Thursday there are always people from the prayer ministry team available to pray with those who would like prayer.

On Friday mornings between 0745 and 0830 a group of us meet to pray for both churches and the City and we would be delighted for you to join us. One Friday a month we have a day of prayer and fasting. We meet for prayer as usual before work then at 1230 and finally at 1730. All are welcome.

Women

St Margaret’s host two women’s groups. Both offer the chance to meet with other City workers who fully understand the unique complexities, challenges and pressures of working in the City of London.

Women’s Prayer Group

A women’s prayer group meet between 1305 and 1335 on the first working Monday of each month. Prayer and testimony at this group is humbling and inspirational. You are warmly invited to join us or, if you cannot, to pray remotely at the same time and have our voices meet as one at God’s ear.

Bible Study

A women’s Bible study group meet between 0745 and 0900 fortnightly on Mondays. The main focus of this group is to strengthen trust in God, share love of Jesus, and attune to promptings of the Spirit. A strong safety net of support, encouragement, guidance and fellowship also plays a large part, as does laughter and pastries. You are warmly invited to join us.

If you would like to know more about either group, or if you have a prayer request, please contact bebecoleman@sky.com.
